DescriptionComprising of seven lakes beside the River Tas, the complex offers the best coarse fishing in the region. Every season, catches in excess of 100lbs are recorded, comprising of specimen Tench, Roach, Chub and Bream not to mention the Carp for which Taswood has made its name. Of the seven lakes, five are set aside solely for coarse fishing, these being Spring, Cinnamon, Lapwing, Osprey and Kingfisher lakes.

The other lakes, Heron and Broadwing are specimen Carp lakes containing Commons, Mirrors, Crucian and very large Grassies. The current record from Heron is 31lb 4oz (Common Carp) and from Broadwing 37lb 12oz (Mirror Carp).
